The Sunday market serves the community and visitors by providing fresh, affordable and ethically sourced food as well as a place to meet, eat and socialise with friends and neighbours. It also provides a free marketplace for local producers and crafts people. We offer fresh vegetables, eggs and baked goods each week, and regular stalls selling a variety of foods, household products and crafts.

Weekly stalls

Silesian Foods bakery, with its supremely good sourdough breads, continental-style cakes, biscuits and savouries, all made from organic flours and eggs.

Our green grocery stall sells organic vegetables from Blacklands Organics , Honest Toil olive oil, and organic, free range eggs from Haresfield Farm. We also sell other Oxfordshire produce such as honey and apple juice.

Regular food stalls
Tribe Zero Waste visits on the 4th Sunday of each month. They sell a range of unpackaged dry goods including pasta, organic rice, flour, sugar and dried fruits, as well as refillable SESI detergents. All their goods are sold by weight or volume so you can buy exactly what you need in any tub or container, reducing food waste, packaging waste and saving money.

Mariella Bliss visits us once a month with her blissful authentic Italian food - freshly handmade dishes like Focaccia, Frittata, Torta di Scarola, Torta Pasqualina with spinach and ricotta, Parmigiana di Melanzane, fresh pasta as well as Torrone, Panforte di Siena, Nocciolina spread and other treats.

Brynmoor Conserves are award-winning preserves prepared by Sarah Doidge in Abingdon. Her jams and marmalades have won over 10 Guild of Fine Food Great Taste Awards and she has even supplied Fortnum and Mason! Towards the end of the year Sarah also comes with a delicious selection of Christmas cakes and puddings.

Crafts
Makers from Wolvercote and beyond visit with jewellery, ceramics, knitwear and more.

Repair Café and bike clinic

2nd Sunday of each month

Bring along your broken small electrical item and a trained volunteer will try to fix it for you and save it from landfill. We also have volunteer mechanics to provide tune ups, repairs, and offer advice to get your cycles rolling smoothly!

Free/donation, first come first served. No larger electrical items (microwaves etc) please. All welcome!
